PRESENTATIONS BY CITIZENS / PUBLIC COMMENT
AGENDA MODIFICATIONS: The City Council may modify the regular agenda by tabling items, adding urgency items to the agenda, or changing the order in which items are considered. Changes to the Consent Calendar are considered at the time the Consent Calendar is considered.
CONSENT CALENDAR: Individual items may be removed and considered separately at the request of a Councilmember. Any item, which is removed from the Consent Calendar, will be added to the end of the agenda under Other Business.
1. Receive and file the expenditures for the period beginning August 1, 2020 and ending September 4, 2020.
2. Designation of Voting Delegate and Alternate for the League of California Cities Annual Conference and approval of registration for both Mayor Nomura and Councilmember Shaw to attend the Annual Conference.
3. Adopt Resolution No. 6003, approving an amendment to the City’s Conflict of Interest Code.
4. Adopt Resolution No. 6004, authorizing the destruction of certain accounts payable, payroll, cash receipts, bank statements, business license and personnel records; and the revision of surplus assets authorized in Resolution No. 5942, as specified in Exhibit A to the staff report.
5. Acceptance of a $30,000 matching grant from the Santa Barbara Better Together Fund to enhance the City of Carpinteria COVID-19 Relief Small Business Restart Grant Program. (Requires a roll call vote)
