ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS:
6. Resolution No. 5993, approving and adopting the memorandum of Understanding for Fiscal year 2020-2021 between the City of Carpinteria and Service Employees International Union (SEIU) Local 620, representing employees in General Service, Public Works and Parks, Recreation and Public Facilities bargaining units.
7. Request for park fee waiver by Girls Incorporated of Carpinteria.
8. An appropriation of $13,100 in fiscal year 19-20 and $3,100 in fiscal year 20-21 to pay for tar removal already performed in the maintenance of the Tar Seep located with the Carpinteria Bluffs Nature Preserve.
9. Adoption of Resolution No. 6002, concerning the elimination of the Bluffs Management Advisory Board and the establishment of the Carpinteria Open Space Management Advisory Board for the purpose of advising the City on all City owned coastal open space and connecting public trails.
10. Resolution No. 6005, reducing the fee for a Home Occupation Permit.
PUBLIC HEARING: None.
OTHER BUSINESS:
11. Report and recommendations on Carpinteria Library services from the Ad Hoc Library Committee.
12. Off-leash area and dog park design for El Carro Park, Monte Vista Park and Lagunitas Park.
13. Extending the term of the Exclusive Negotiation Agreement (ENA) between the City of Carpinteria and 499 Linden Managers, LLC until September 20, 2021 for the Inn Project located at 499 Linden Avenue near the railroad tracks.
14. Annual Report on efforts to assist people experiencing homelessness in Carpinteria and address issues related to homelessness in the Community.
15. Response to the 2019-20 Santa Barbara County Grand Jury report, “Homelessness in Santa Barbara County.”
16. Amendment No. 2 to the Agreement with Dudek for City Project No. 15015 – Rincon Multi-Use Trail Project. (Requires a roll call vote)
LEGISLATIVE UPDATE: The City Council will discuss local, state and/or federal legislation under consideration and decide whether to direct staff to place a matter(s) on a future City Council agenda for consideration.
