11. Legislation Position Letter Opposing Assembly Bill 2557.
PUBLIC HEARING:
12. Hearing at the request of the City of Carpinteria: (1) Introduce and conduct first reading of Ordinance No. 785, an amendment to the City’s Local Coastal Program that makes changes to Carpinteria Municipal Coe, Title 14 – Zoning, by amending regulations concerning Accessory Dwelling Units and Junior Accessory Dwelling Units (Project No. 23-2231-LCPA/ORD); and (2) Adopt Resolution No. 6340 certifying that Ordinance No. 785 is intended to carry out the policies of the City’s certified Local Coastal Program consistent with the California Coastal Act, and direct that the proposed Local Coastal Program Amendment be transmitted to the California Coastal Commission for certification.
13. Ordinance No. 784, an Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Carpinteria, California, Amending Chapter 2.08 (City Manager) of Title 2 (Administration and Personnel) and Chapter 3.32 (Purchasing Systems) of Title 3 (Revenue and Finance) of the Carpinteria Municipal Code Regarding Purchasing System, and Resolution No. 6341, Approving and Adopting the City's Procurement Policy.

14. Adopt Resolution No. 6339, combining and amending the Conditions of Employment for Miscellaneous Unrepresented and Management Personnel including amendments to classification, work schedules, compensation adjustments, leave, holidays and health benefits.
LEGISLATIVE UPDATE: The City Council will discuss local, state and/or federal legislation under consideration and decide whether to direct staff to place a matter(s) on a future City Council agenda for consideration.
