C. PUBLIC COMMENT: This is a time for public comments on matters not otherwise on the agenda but within the subject matter jurisdiction of the Architectural Review Board. Comments shall be limited to 15 minutes, divided among those persons desiring to speak, but no person shall speak longer than five minutes. Persons wishing to speak on a specific item will be recognized at the time the agenda item is considered. The City is not responsible for the content of statements made during the public comment period, or the factual accuracy of any such statements.

1) APPLICANT: Kyle & Andrea Zuvella (Project: 20-2041-DP/CUP/CDP) PLANNER: Syndi Souter PROJECT LOCATION: 4756 Fifth Street ZONING: Planned Residential Development (PRD-20): Request of Kyle and Andrea Zuvella to consider Project 20-2041-DP/CDP for in-progress preliminary review of a request to construct a new 448 square-foot master bedroom addition to the rear of the existing 904 square-foot single-family residence. The proposal includes an interior remodel, changes to the exterior finishes, and a new picket fence in the front yard. The property is an 8,446 square-foot parcel zoned Planned Residential Development (PRD-20) and shown as APN 003-303-014, addressed as 4756 Fifth Street.
2) APPLICANT: Charles Collins AIA, architect for Rod & Richeon Herman (Project: 20-2056-ARB) PLANNER: Syndi Souter PROJECT LOCATION: 1423 Camino Trillado ZONING: Single Family Residential (7-R-1): Request of Charles Collins AIA, architect for Rod and Richeon Herman, to consider Project 20-2056-ARB for preliminary/final approval of a request to construct a new 282 square foot covered front porch, other non-structural updates to the front of the existing residence, new hardscape (including curbs and garden walls), and new landscaping. The project will not add any new square footage to the existing residence. The property is an 11,326 square-foot parcel zoned Single Family Residential (7-R-1) and shown as APN 001-400-058, addressed as 1423 Camino Trillado.
3) ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW BOARD TRAINING: Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck, LLP, acting as City Attorney of the City of Carpinteria will present a training session for the ARB.
