6. Approve the minutes of the regular meeting held April 22, 2024 and the special meeting held April 26, 2024.
7. Receive and file the Expenditures for the period beginning April 15, 2024 and ending May 3, 2024.
8. Approve additional appropriations through the Community Services Support Grant program (CSSG) for the current fiscal year (FY) 2023-2024 totaling $19,000. (This motion requires a roll call vote.)
ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS:
9. Rental of Street Sweeping Equipment.
10. Approval of the Agreement between the City of Carpinteria and Two Trumpets Communications for Public Outreach Services and Communications Support.
11. Authorization to Renew an Agreement for Rental Housing Mediation Program services between the City of Carpinteria and the City of Santa Barbara for the period from July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2027, for a flat fee of $78,813 for the three-year term of this agreement.
12. Receive and file letter of resignation of District 3 Councilmember Roy Lee and determine Process for Filling City Council Vacancy.

13. Ordinance No. 782, an Ordinance of the City Council, of the City of Carpinteria, California, amending Chapter 2.37 of the Carpinteria Municipal Code to modify the composition of the Carpinteria Community Library Advisory Commission and align reporting requirements with State law.
14. 2024 Community Promotions and Communications Program Report.
LEGISLATIVE UPDATE: The City Council will discuss local, state and/or federal legislation under consideration and decide whether to direct staff to place a matter(s) on a future City Council agenda for consideration.
