7. Adopt Resolution No. 6168, authorizing certain officers to order the deposit or withdrawal of monies in the Local Agency Investment Fund (LAIF).
8. Receive and file the Monthly City Treasurer’s Report on Compliance with Statement of Safekeeping and Investment of Public Funds for the month of September 2022.
9. Receive and file the Quarterly Review of the Pension Stabilization Trust.
10. Adopt Resolution No. 6172, receiving and filing the annual City Investment Policy.
ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS:
11. Approval of a consultant services agreement between the City and Equity Praxis Group for assistance with the City’s Racial, Equity and Social Justice program in a not-to-exceed amount of $108,202.
12. Authorization for the City Manager to execute an Agreement with Policore to provide Information Technology Management Services to the City of Carpinteria for a three-year not-to-exceed amount of $311,220.00.
13. Award of Contract for Electric Vehicle Charging Stations.
14. Adopt Resolution No. 6169, Approving Appointments to the Downtown “T” Business Advisory Board.
PUBLIC HEARING:
15. Request of the Carpinteria-Summerland Fire Protection District for the City Council to provide comments regarding the District’s Draft Ordinance adopting the 2022 California Fire Code pursuant to California Health and Safety Code §13869.7(b).
OTHER BUSINESS:
16. Approval and adoption of Resolution No. 6171, establishing administrative procedures for a Safe Parking Pilot Program, authorizing the City Manager, on behalf of the City, to enter into an operating agreement with New Beginnings Counseling Center in a not-to-exceed amount of $94,000, and allocating a FY 2022-23 budget amount of $32,000.
17. Code Compliance Quarterly Report.
LEGISLATIVE UPDATE: The City Council will discuss local, state and/or federal legislation under consideration and decide whether to direct staff to place a matter(s) on a future City Council agenda for consideration.
