PUBLIC HEARING:
15. Hearing at the Request of the City of Carpinteria to: (1) Introduce Ordinance No. 758, an amendment to the City’s Local Coastal Program that makes changes to the Zoning regulations and Zoning Map of the Carpinteria Municipal Code by adding regulations concerning Accessory Dwelling Units and Junior Accessory Dwelling Units (Project No. 19-2008-LCPA/ORD); and (2) Adopt Resolution No. 6160, certifying that Ordinance No. 758 is intended to carry out the policies of the City’s certified Local Coastal Plan consistent with the California Coastal Act, and direct that the proposed Local Coastal Plan Amendment be transmitted to the California Coastal Commission for certification.
OTHER BUSINESS:
16. Proposal of new Classification and Compensation Schedule for implementation of the 2021 Total Compensation Report consultant salary range recommendations.
LEGISLATIVE UPDATE: The City Council will discuss local, state and/or federal legislation under consideration and decide whether to direct staff to place a matter(s) on a future City Council agenda for consideration.
