CITY MANAGER’S REPORT
PRESENTATIONS BY CITIZENS / PUBLIC COMMENT
AGENDA MODIFICATIONS: The City Council may modify the regular agenda by tabling items, adding urgency items to the agenda, or changing the order in which items are considered. Changes to the Consent Calendar are considered at the time the Consent Calendar is considered.
CONSENT CALENDAR: Individual items may be removed and considered separately at the request of a Councilmember. Any item, which is removed from the Consent Calendar, will be added to the end of the agenda under Other Business. (Motion to approve requires a roll call vote.)
6. Receive and file the Report of Contracts Executed by the City Manager on behalf of the City for the Period of January 17, 2021, through February 12, 2021,
7. Receive and file the expenditures for the period beginning January 30, 2021, and ending February 12, 2021.
8. Monthly City Treasurer's Report on Compliance with Statement of Safekeeping and Investment of Public Funds.
9. Second reading of Ordinance No. 745, an Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Carpinteria, California, Amending Section 10.44.010 (Decrease of State Speed Limit Authorized in Certain Zones) of the Carpinteria Municipal Code as Such Relates to Maximum Speed Limits on Certain City Streets.
ADMINISTRATIVE MATTER: None
PUBLIC HEARING:
10. Adopt Resolution No. 6028, Approving the Measure A Five-Year Local Program of Projects for Fiscal Years 2021-22 through 2025-26.
OTHER BUSINESS:
11. Authorize the City Manager to sign consultant services agreements on behalf of the City with Just Communities and NLC REAL for assistance with the Racial, Equity and Social Justice program and approval of a related budget allocation of $134,952.75 from the Measure X Fund balance.
12. Receive report on advisory measures and options to solicit additional public feedback on the proposed Surfliner Inn Project, located at 499 Linden Avenue, and provide further direction to staff.
