PRESENTATIONS BY CITIZENS / PUBLIC COMMENT
AGENDA MODIFICATIONS: The City Council may modify the regular agenda by tabling items, adding urgency items to the agenda, or changing the order in which items are considered. Changes to the Consent Calendar are considered at the time the Consent Calendar is considered.
CONSENT CALENDAR: Individual items may be removed and considered separately at the request of a Councilmember. Any item, which is removed from the Consent Calendar, will be added to the end of the agenda under Other Business.
3. Expenditures for the period beginning December 5, 2020 and ending January 1, 2021.
4. Monthly City Treasurer’s Report on Compliance with Statement of Safekeeping and Investment of Public Funds.
ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS:
5. Authorize the Mayor to execute an Amended Cost Sharing Agreement between the City and the California Department of Transportation for Sharing of Cost related to State Highway Electrical Facilities.
6. Amendment to the Compensation Schedule of Hourly Rated Positions.
PUBLIC HEARING: None.
OTHER BUSINESS:
7. Authorization for the City Manager to sign a consultant services agreement on behalf of the City with Dale Redfield for assistance with the transition of the Carpinteria Library to the City of Carpinteria, and approval of a related budget allocation of $15,400 from the Measure X Fund balance.
8. Recommendations and Findings of the Tree Advisory Board from the Annual Tree Tour concerning removal of certain street tree(s).
9. Review and update of City Council Joint, Standing, and Ad Hoc Committees, and selection of City Council representatives for Regional Agencies and Committees and City Council Joint, Standing, Ad Hoc, and other committees.
LEGISLATIVE UPDATE: The City Council will discuss local, state and/or federal legislation under consideration and decide whether to direct staff to place a matter(s) on a future City Council agenda for consideration.
