1. Project: Burgess-Birk Residence Remodel & Addition, Project 25-2328-CUP/CDP/ARB Address: 748 Maple Avenue Applicant: Dylan Chappell, architect, for Gordon Burgess and Selena Burgess-Birk Planner: Syndi Souter Request of Dylan Chappell, architect, for Gordon Burgess and Selena Burgess-Birk, to consider Project 25-2328-CUP/CDP/ARB for final review of a proposal to construct additions totaling 1,836 square-feet to an existing 997 square-foot single-family residence. The resultant residence would be 2,833 square-feet in size with a maximum height of 21.83 feet above finished grade. The site is 5,878 square feet in size and is zoned Planned Residential Development (PRD-20) shown as APN 003-321-011, addressed as 748 Maple Avenue.
2. Project: Cypress Apartments Renovations, Project 25-2335-ARB Address: 4956 Fifth Street Applicants: Paige Mascari, Becker Studios, agent, for 4956 Fifth, LLC Planner: Syndi Souter Request of Paige Mascari, Becker Studios, agent, for 4956 Fifth, LLC, to consider Project 25-2335-DP/CDP/ARB for final review of a proposal for interior and exterior renovations to an existing 10,485 square-foot seven-unit two-story apartment building. The exterior renovations would include a new roof, new windows and doors, new plaster and paint, new stairway and balcony railings, new landscaping, and new hardscape. The existing carport and uncovered parking area would remain and continue to provide 13 on-site parking spaces. Vehicular access to the site would remain at the rear off of Sixth Place. The project site is 12,750 square-feet in size, zoned Planned Residential Development (PRD-20), and is shown as APNs 003-312-012 and 003-312-013.
3. Project: Surf Cottages Condominiums, Project 25-2331-DP/CDP/ARB Address: 4716 Seventh Street Applicant: Eva Turenchalk, agent, for Michael Haber, Surf Cottage LLC Planner: Megan Musolf Request of Request of Eva Turenchalk, agent, for Michael Haber, Surf Cottage LLC, to consider Project 25-2331-DP/CDP/ARB for preliminary review of a proposal to remodel and add a second story to an existing single-family dwelling, and construct a new two-story two-unit building, to create a total of three condominium units on the property. The resulting single-family residence would be 2,141 square feet with a maximum height of 23 feet 9 inches, and the two new units would be 1,968 and 1,966 square feet, respectively, with a maximum building height of 26 feet 9 inches. A two-car garage would be constructed for each unit and one on-site guest parking space would be provided. The project would include all new hardscaping and landscaping, including relocating the existing curb cut and driveway off Seventh Street. The property is a 10,998 square foot (0.25 acre) parcel zoned Planned Residential Development (PRD-15) and shown as APN 003-301-020, addressed as 4716 Seventh Street.
