Project: Objective Design Standards for Multifamily Residential and Mixed-Use Developments, Project #24-2279-ORD/LCPA Project Address: Citywide Applicant: City of Carpinteria Planners: Mindy Fogg and Megan Musolf Request of Request by the City of Carpinteria to consider Project 24-2279-ORD/LCPA for review of proposed Objective Design Standards (ODS) that would apply to specified multifamily residential and mixed-use developments in the City. The ODS are proposed as a new chapter in Title 14, Zoning, of the Carpinteria Municipal Code and are part of a larger project to rezone sites in the City to satisfy the City’s 2023-2031 Housing Element Program 1, Adequate Sites to Accommodate Regional Housing Needs Allocation.
