1. Project: 22-2171-ORD, Downtown "T" Parklet Permit Program Address: Downtown "T" Applicant: City of Carpinteria Public Works Department Planner: Nick Bobroff Request of John Ilasin, Public Works Director, on behalf of the City of Carpinteria Public Works Department to consider Project 22-2171-ORD for preliminary review of the draft Downtown "T" Parklet Permit Program (Program). The Program would establish a permit program to allow restaurants and other types of food service businesses located within the Downtown "T" to obtain a permit for the placement of a semi-permanent parklet in the public right-of-way fronting their respective business. The Program provides details on permit eligibility, permit terms/requirements, and parklet design standards.

2. Project: 22-2153-CON, Cardenas Residence Addition Concept Address: 5401 Cameo Road Applicant: Shawn Godkin, architect for Joseph and Diane Cardenas Planner: Syndi Souter Request of Shawn Godkin, architect for Joseph and Diane Cardenas, to consider Project 22-2153-CON for conceptual review of a proposal to convert the existing 460 square-foot two-car garage to living space and construct a new 1,174 square-foot two-story addition to the front of the existing residence that would contain a new two-car garage with living space above. The maximum height of the proposed residence would remain at 25.38 feet and the maximum height of the proposed addition would be 21.88 feet. The property is a 10,900 square-foot parcel zoned Single-Family Residential (7-R-1), and shown as APN 001-300-027, addressed as 5410 Cameo Road.
